Ok, so outset off, I want to permit the devs know that they did an amazing job making this app. It has a simple blueprint, looks groovy, and is very user-friendly. One thing is that Google Drive offers 15GB for free, while I think Dropbox just offers 2GB. Perchance for the free version, upgrade that a footling flake.
Anyway, I mainly use Dropbox over whatever other service, because I believe information technology'southward meliorate, but I might have to switch to Google Bulldoze for more complimentary storage. For example, if I could have all my files in one big folder, and them scatter them across different folders using shortcuts to the aforementioned file, in the big folder. I would have multiple folders, and ,for example, have my song in 1 binder, and another, without doubling the storage. Horrible Background Battery Usage
I really love the app and it gives me the power to share my files between my iPad and my desktop reckoner easily. I originially got Dropbox because Google Drive was draining my battery by constantly running in the groundwork. Well, my battery has been draining again over fourth dimension by almost 30% or more at times. I checked my battery usage and Dropbox was running in the background for vii hours direct. Why? I looked upwardly the issue, and someone mentioned the merely fashion to set up it was to disable it in the File app on my device, only I don't want to do that, considering sometimes I do need to access things from that app, or move things that way. I understand that it checks the folder in Files and makes sure everything is synced to the actual Dropbox app, only 7 hours? There's also an issue where if I upload items to Dropbox within the app, if I close the app, information technology stops uploading. I accept to have the app open for information technology to finish uploading. I've never had to bargain with that before. Not sure if these are Apple issues or Dropbox bug. I hope there's another fix for it though, because I shouldn't be going to slumber with my iPad at 100% and waking up to it already down to 70%. I guess I will practise the temporary prepare in files for now, unless I find another cloud service that doesn't drain my battery all day.
